Life has a way of changing the journey you have envisioned for yourself. Due to injuries sustained in a vehicle accident, my military journey came to an unexpected end. Upon leaving the military, my next chapter began with becoming a mother. I had to decide what was best for myself and my newborn son. I secured a position with a local municipality and continued to advance my knowledge within the zoning and permitting offices.  This desire for more knowledge, and obtaining a better understanding of processes and how to make them better led me to a position in the Information Technology and GIS department supporting the computer systems we utilized in zoning and permitting. 

I continued to follow my love for all things land development and secured my FAA Part 107 License and decided to start my own aerial services company.  It was a great way to combine my creative eye with my love for land development and get me OUT OF THE OFFICE!  I love the outdoors and sitting inside a box all day started to wear on my mental health.  Soon after starting my business, I met a local construction consultant through my son's hockey team.  We began "talking shop" during the countless hours we spent sitting at the local hockey rinks and he offered me an opportunity to fly a few of his current projects.   Our business relationship continued to grow as we learned more about each other and our capabilities.   

Sixteen months later, we joined forces and now operate together to offer clients the best of both of our worlds.  His wealth of knowledge and experience managing developments along with my permitting, zoning and technology background, truly makes us a ONE STOP SHOP!  ICON Consulting Inc and Born To Fly Media is a power team like no other.
